Medicine

In connection to medicine and medical equipment the electrochemical machining can be used for manufacturing of the following parts:

  • medical tools for microsurgical operations (scalpels, choppers, prechoppers, splitters), having very sharp edge (less than 1 micron);
  • medical tools and devices (for example, probes, cannulas for irrigation, microcaptures), narrow grooves and apertures of small diameter;
  • manufacturing of steel and titanium implants having shaped surfaces with a special regular microrelief (on ventplants and dental implants) or on the contrary optical surfaces;
  • implants having grooves and apertures of various shape (for example, plates for cranial-maxillofacial surgery, vertebrarium surgery, medical nails and so forth);
  • manufacturing of forming tool (stamps, compression molds) for manufacturing of medical tool (scissors, clips, cannula holders, tweezers, etc.), implants and other parts.
